Forecasts change.? Earlier ones did.? The first prediction of a CHANCE of rain has been pushed back to overnight Saturday (Anyone notice a trend here?)
This is the most gorgeous camping weather we have had in October in a long time.? This is a gorgeous park to socialize in.
It's not hot during the day, and not cold at night.The chance of precip is less than 15% until Saturday night.? Yes, the forecast says it might be overcast much of the time.. but I already discussed forecasts.??
If anyone has any intention to join us, PLEASE TEXT OR EMAIL ME * YES OR *NO IMMEDIATELY.? I plan on being here ONLY until Saturday afternoon.? OR LEAVE SOONER if not many are going to join us or reply....??
By the way, last night, a hole opened up, and it was dark.??We saw:
Jupiter and Saturn...and the following constellations:? Cassiopia Lyra Aquila Andromeda Pegasus Lacerta Delphias Cygnus Sagita and part of the Big Dipper.? Pete also saw the Double Cluster.? With 7x35 binos, Pete was able see the Owl Cluster NGC 457, and make out the cluster Stock 1, near the Double Cluster, as well as open cluster Mel 20.?
More holes opened up today, actually the sun woke Pete up when his tent warmed up.??
Don't feel too bad.? The holes closed within an hour.
However, Mr Starr arrived around 3pm, and says all the forecasts he looked at are saying the sky will have some holes tonight, and they all say tomorrow night WILL be better.
