Thank you, John, and to everyone that made this event happen... attendees, helpers, and also to the PA STATE Park employees that went out of their way (and off the beaten path for them) to help this event succeed... including the weather gods.??
It was very rewarding to see and meet past supporters and newbies, and to see all the red LEDs on the field throught the night.? Both observers and astrophotographers were having a great time.
I am already planning October's additions and improvements, anticipating longer nights and better seeing with the cooler Temps.??
My current estimate is that this field may max out at 50 sites on the ballfield, and 5-10 RVs or large campers, so if you know others that would like to attend, I'd encourage you to suggest they don't procrastinate.??
There are people registered already, and there's still room left.
I look forward to seeing everyone again when you can make it.
