As many of you are aware there was talk at last year¡¯s reunion that we should try for a reunion every two years. To that end? a small committee consisting of John & Jo Rees, John Irwin, and myself with apologies from Pete Fraser met last Friday morning in Leeton to discuss things we might do for next year¡¯s event.

The date for Gala Day 2026 is yet to be confirmed by the P&C but we believe it will most likely be the 2nd or 3rd weekend in March¡.with the 2nd being the most likely. To that end Jo has pencilled in a booking for the Saturday night dinner at the Hydro. She has also got them to pencil in 10 rooms for the weekend of the 14th but we must stay Friday and Saturday night which would certainly work¡we will also look at doing similar for a couple of other motels. ?Hopefully it will be the 2nd weekend because the 3rdweekend is booked out for a wedding at the Hydro¡so fingers crossed.

We thought too that we had probably done the school tours etc on the Friday? enough in recent times so we will simply aim to join the OYU reunion on Friday night and do a partner¡¯s dinner at Benvenuti. Saturday we are thinking maybe a run to Gala Day in the morning and maybe a visit to the Whitton Malthouse for lunch or afternoon tea followed by our Saturday night dinner. Sunday morning ¨C catch up for breakfast at Peddlers which is just opposite the Leeton PO.
