I've got a large travel trailer and pickup totaling 50'. I also have 2 generators: a 4500w mounted and smaller 1600w portable so I can provide some power to others.
Not sure how much radio gear I'll bring but as you said, it's a good shakedown weekend.
I have scheduled for May 9-11 @ Duck Creek Campground for a Camper Shake Out.? It will be a great weekend for radio play with the WY NVIS on Saturday and the location being a POTA entity (US-4572 Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail).? The campground is located on the very south/east side of Canyon Ferry.? This will be a great weekend to shake out the campers and ready them for the camping season and also to try out your portable stations for Field Day operations.? There should be ample space to accommodate many campers.?
