I have the same radio you do. ?I use the Bioenno Power, ,Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery, 12V 20Ah, 240 Watt-hours, P/N BLF-1220A (PVC pack). ?20A max continuous discharge current, 40 Amp max pack discharge current. ?As far as what batteries can be transported on the airlines, go to EACH airline's battery regulations. ?For the most part they are close to the same but each has a bugaboo. ?It's not as restrictive as one would fear. ?That's why so many hams can travel with all their gear AND battery. ?So if you use a particular airline regularly, look up their regulations. ?My battery is big and heavy. ?There are lighter, lower V/Ah batteries available by Bioenno. ?Make sure whatever you get is Lithium IRON Phosphate, not Lithium Ion.
