Many of you may have known Kay Newman from her role as ham volunteer coordinator for the Bridger Ridge Run.? Kay passed on June 6, 2024.

One of the reasons I finally took the ham radio licensing exam was because Kay suggested it as a way to be able to help out the Big Sky Winddrinkers running club for the ridge run.

Kay had moved from Bozeman to Colorado back in April so that she could be closer?to her sons.? She was 89 years old. Rest in Peace, Kay.

P.S.? A memorial service is listed for July 6, 2024, 11:00AM, at First Presbyterian Church in Bozeman.
