Hi All, Several bits of news. First of all, sorry it took so long getting the remote back on line. I could find no local ham to install the antenna. I ended up hiring two neighbors, one of whom is an electrician. It cost $200 to pay them. I'll get antenna number two up soon. It will give you a 1.1 SWR from 160 through 10. Number two: donations received in February were $325. Of that, $200 went to the antenna installation, $100 went to a circuit board to control the remote.The circuit board was DOA. I had hoped to get by with no dues and rely on donations only. That obviously is not going to work. My thought is to set dues at $20 a month for maintenance and parts. I was up for lease renewal and the city decided, because of aiirport new runway costs asnd the loss of airline traffic that they were going to double ly ease payment to $450, i CHOSE NOT TOBRENEW RENEW AND MOVE..... the remote home....less expense more secure.
