I have failed in more ventures than I have succeeded so I¡¯m not one to speak to it. I appreciate what you¡¯re going through Keith. I really only know of two remotes that have the ability to work dx (my main interest). Yours and Pats W5FMH.
After being dormant for 17 years, remote hams gave me ham radio back. I know at this stage in my life, I will most likely never own a place where I can put antennas. So I am resigned to the HOA community in which I live. Believe it or not, I discovered remote hams just one year ago. Had no clue that it existed before. ?
Thank you
John

I agree with Murray, except the since inception part.? Maybe since the beginning of 2019 is more realistic.? ?Late last year you had a drive to get the annual $200 collected, and I am under the impression you got 30 or more members to pay.
That is $6000, yet you were looking for gas money in January. I do not understand the accounting¡. Do we put the dues into reserve for future expenses? Or is that money gone? I am concerned that advertising for new members is a very poor way to finance the
remote. I feel availability is key, and the remote can only support a certain number of users and still have reasonable availability.

Reference above. In the interest of coming up with more ideas, need to know exactly what it costs (soup to nuts) to
maintain the remote station yearly, including repairs, insurance, electricity, parts, etc since inception?? Knowing that makes it easier to consider some options i have in mind.. For your consideration
