Our Elecraft KRC-2 unit that we used to automatically change antennas and perform other fail safe functions failed.? I sent it back to Elecraft for repairs.? The problem with it is a bad chip (U4) probably caused by a surge.
Fortunately, George, W3AB, did such a professional job building the kit for us, Elecraft could find no issues with the construction and will repair the unit under warranty.? At least I was not imagining the fault.
