Enjoy reading the digest and especially when talk gets technical. I was
a heavy equipment operator for 30 years and now, for the past 15yr, I
train others to do the same. Point being, dont have electronics
background so pse forgive the 'dumb' question.
Ref W8JI website and info:
"the terminal best able to stand the highest voltage to earth should be
on the shortest antenna side".
So does that mean that the center of the PL259 goes to "heavy
side"...80% of antenna and shell (ground) goes to 20% or vice versa.
I have a Balun Designs 4:1 balun in the closet....would this work for
OCF as described above?
