As summer is coming to a close, I would like to remind everyone that we will be going back to our Thursday schedule the week of Labor Day.? If anyone has any exercise suggestions to kick things off, please let me know.
?
Also, only somewhat related to the net, I decided to sell my IC-9700 as I was having difficulty with wide-band data modes (9k6 packet, M17, and VARA-FM Wide).? After some back-and-forth with Icom support, they confirmed these modes may never be well supported.? I am now looking for a replacement VHF/UHF all-mode transceiver that can do wide band data.? The TS-2000 is at the top of my list so if anyone knows of anyone locally selling one, or anything similar (doesn't need the HF capability, just all-mode VHF and UHF.? Power isn't a big concern as I have amplifiers for that.) I'd appreciate it if you could let me know.
