Seeing AI with the short text setting will do it but you have to get behind the car and point the phone in the right direction. Well maybe you live in one of the states that requires front and license plates and then you can get in front of the car and get the license plate. I have never bothered with license plates with Uber or Lyft. The car pulls in and the driver calls my name so I know it is the right car. I also may ask the driver for his or her name, which I already have from the app to verify that it is the right car.

Hi all. Subject pretty much sums it up. There's a backstory to this, but I'll get right to the question. Can any of the scanning apps such as Seeing AI and Be My Eyes detect the license plates of these vehicles? I *might* start taking Uber or Lyft to church on Sundays. This will most likely be a work in progress. Tia for anyone's assistance with this.
