the 50k ohm pot

[email protected] All Messages By This Member #298 I am at work now but it is the one that had 3 prongs and we had to pur a jumper in its place. On the instructions its not there but in one pic with the green bci filter it shows up

[email protected] #300 Jack, I think he's referring to the image of the unmodified 49'er in the 49'er DDS/VFO manual.. That little square white and blue pot. That is the one that is not installed on the DDS/VFO.. Steve NS3L

jjpurdum Member Profile All Messages By This Member #303 Wow...I never noticed it before. That's Farrukh's rig, as he installed the BCI filter you see between the two boards. Farrukh Zia All Messages By This Member #323 Hi, My apologies for extended absence from the discussion forum. The blue/white pot on the "Forty-9er" board in the picture being referenced in this thread is indeed NOT to be installed.? I had initially built an unmodified "Forty-9er" board and then removed some of the components to modify it to work the DDS VFO board. However, instead of removing the 50k pot, I just cut one track and jumpered it on the bottom side of the PCB. That's why it is still there in the picture. Sorry for the confusion. 73, Farrukh
