Re: Antenna Analyzer
Nor sure what display you are using with the BITX. For my project I am using a 2.8" SPI display. The Teensy LC is fast enough for the display routines, and has enough RAM to hold the waveform

Re: Antenna Analyzer
I've got the 3.5 and 3.6 Teensy, but did not use it on the BITX40 project because I don't know if the library works with the Teensy. I may try that today. Jack, W8TEE To:

Re: Antenna Analyzer
I played with one of the "Mega Mini" boards for a while. I was thinking about using in a project, but decided to go to a "Teensy LC" because of speed and size. The one I got came with out the male

Re: Antenna Analyzer
Yes, size mainly. I think the only reason it's not popular right now is because its new and hasn't been copied, which makes the price higher that a regular Mega. A few more months and the price will

Re: Antenna Analyzer
Jack What was the reason for going with the Mini Mega2560....just size ? Doesn't seem like a very popular board and those double row connectors must take a special breadboard if ya want to fool around

Re: Getting the DDS VFO working with a Super RockMite
Tom (or anybody else), Back before Christmas I built the Super RockMite and the DDS-VFO but things got busy and I never had time to figure out the mating process. Each device works fine independently

Re: Finally got my rig into a case
Thanks for the kind words. 2000 miles/watt is one of the highest I've heard. Again, write it up and put in about the BCI and CW filter. Indeed, mention the Four States group explicitly...it might help

Re: Finally got my rig into a case
Jack, That contact with F6HKA comes in at a little over 2000 miles per watt. This is why I love QRP and CW. There are lots of great projects out there for building these kinds of rigs. Molding them to

Write it up and send the video...definitely a good shot at getting it in. Frame it from the point of view that you don't need to be rich to enjoy our hobby, sorta like I did with the 49er article and

That is SUPER! You should write to QST and tell them. I'll bet it would find its way into print. Jack, W8TEE To: SoftwareControlledHamRadio@... Sent: Monday, January 30, 2017 10:35 PM

It would work on perf board. Ours is nice because the display plugs directly into our PCB. In the attached picture, the TFT display is on the bottom and it plugs into our PCB "from the bottom". You

Re: Finally got my rig into a case
I just got my first DX contact with my radio. Bert F6HKA was getting SKCC contacts on 40m tonight and I got him. 2 Watts. He gave me a 579. What fun. He was on 7.055. Richard - K4KRW
