I had the same thing happen to one of the 49-er kits that I built and another one from a friend--it was a blown D882 transistor in both cases.? de Karl, KO8S

I'm no EE guy, but if the receiver is working, that tells me that the VFO is working. I think you should see about 2-4Vpp on J2 or J3. I've asked Dennis to look into this further, as it may be well above my paygrade.
