Re: T41 BPF results
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýYou can actually do either, but it will be far easier to stack them one on top of the next.? That¡¯s why it¡¯s written that way in the Assembly manual.? BUT if you can get them side-by-side¡ that works too. ? ? Dr. William J. Schmidt - K9HZ J68HZ 8P6HK ZF2HZ PJ4/K9HZ VP5/K9HZ PJ2/K9HZ VP2EHZ ? I was under the impression that if there is enough room, you are better to stack them side by side? Is the term "stacked" explained in the manual? ? Jack, W8TEE ? On Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 08:35:10 PM EST, K9HZ <bill@...> wrote: ? ? Justin's manual has a similar table in it, but not the wire lengths. Because the BPF's use the smaller wire, the wire length in Kit and Parts should be very close to what you need. For example, L091 calls for a T37-6 core with 25 turns. From their table: ? ? ??????? T-37 Core???????????? Length
? 25 turns on a T-37 core takes 14.5". (Simple average of the turn count.)? I would wind one core and see how that works out for the pigtail leads. Adjust as needed. ? Jack, W8TEE ?
