Yeah as I recall, the max output from the PCM5102 is something like 1-2V
max... works ok for headphones but not quite there for a speaker.

You should get audio well before max volume.

I had my V12 Main Board and RF board working with my V11 LPF. It worked
fine, and I made QSOs with it.

I got some BPF in place and I indeed have audio in headphones, volume
at max.
Slow pulsing I had is gone.
So the RX path is working FB.
I still get some random freeze ups but at least all is working.
With out BPF there may have been some overload.
