Re: Servocat unit not responding
Rajeev, Ok... first off the Gen3 that stopped working - these are readily repairable. You might want to start a conversation with Bill at BBASTRO to see what needs to be done to get it going. The cost

Rajeev, Modern power supplies - AC/DC are extremely rugged and won't be an issue. They can easily handle any perturbations in the power line. They are ubiquitous as well in everything electronic we

Re: Servocat unit not responding
I am using a surge protector power strip, so I don't think power surge is a likely concern.

And one more thing. Below was information about some island. It often happens that they have poor maintenance of power grids. If there is a power surge in the grids, cheap power supplies do not

Please note that even when turned on for the first time, a working Argo with a disconnected lithium battery shows a slightly glowing display. When turned on twice, a corresponding message appears. If

Thanks for the replies and suggestions.? Responses below. I made no changes to the power supplies I've been using successfully for a while with the AN and the ServoCat units, so it wasn't anything to

As Gary Myers requested, let us resolve Rajeev's issue please. You have done this before in other forums and it is unhelpful. Gary Myers and I are both across our respective products. We have designed

There are no differences in the ServoCAT's (except through different firmware version levels and Generation levels). The AUX light is a red light - IF you have programmed the latest version firmware

I see significant differences with my ServoCat. "AUX light is orange briefly" I couldn't get this with all possible manipulations, except for one, I didn't use this connector. "HC light goes green"

Maybe. Like a sequence of random coincidences. Argo burned out, then Servocat stopped working due to a broken cable HC, then the user incorrectly installed the jumper on SkyCommander. Although it

Re: Servocat unit not responding
You may have a faulty hand controller cable. The hand controller may be getting power and ground but failing to transmit data to the ServoCAT. I just had this happen on my own telescope. BC
