i think your suspicion is correct. ?The combination of the Argo Navis + ServoCAT + the ASCOM driver enables the connection. ?When I load Stellarium the ASCOM virtual hand pad then loads automatically. Stellarium then places a fudical type cursor overlay on the map indicating where the scope is pointing. ?Argo Navis is the source of information that is fed to Stellarium via the ServoCAT ASCOM driver.
I am guessing you need Argo Navis.
