The drive cable is wound the wrong way! The end going up should be closest to the mirror box. Must be a real pain trying to 'thread' that up in there as is.?

Also - indeed the drive roller is over quite a bit. The mirror 'stop' Teflon pad I can see - is there one on both sides? If not I'd consider moving that to the other side to keep the mirror box more to towards the motor. You could move the drive roller a bit more outward but this being a Junior motor the motor shaft isn't designed for too much overhang load. So lets concentrated on the mirror box position, which, seems to be pushed away?too far

Thanks for the quick response. ?I attached two pictures. ?The cable stop hardware has minimized the problem but not stopped it. ?The one question i have is the spool is not located directly under the declination rocker. I was concerned that sliding it too far off the drive shaft might create a problem with torque or securing it.
