I had my uppers at about 550-600, and lowers at about 450 or so

Some people suggest sailing in about 12 knots of wind and 15-20 degrees of heel

In those conditions the leeward upper should just be slack or have no slack at all.

The lowers will sway about 1/2 inch at most.

If you search web you'll see different rules of thumb but I do understand that tuning a rig with swept back spreaders is different than straight spreader.

Dynamic tuning is key as you want to ensure that the mast is not pumping, the masthead is not kinkednto leeward or the middle of spar is not bending...

Note that the settings I refer to below are for the Loos professional PT-2
Gauge, not the smaller gauge. Apparently the scales are different for these gauges
