Re: Marvel Game

hey is this game still a thing? 'Cause I have a character I've wanted to rework that has some pretty good avenger potential

Looking for a one on one RP

Hi, I¡¯m Jen. I prefer m/f, human, third person, and a paragraph or two per turn. I would prefer to have some world building and slow burn before sexual things happen. I¡¯m in my 30s and would prefer someone close to my age. Older than me is completely fine. Here are a few ideas. ??
?
My ideas are m/f with me playing the female
?
My character is a mail order bride where my character responds to an ad basically because she has no choice. She would be moving to somewhere out west from the Midwest. Her parents are tired of waiting for her to be married, and they don¡¯t have much money. The man needs an heir so his land doesn¡¯t go to his enemy/family foe or something. She doesn¡¯t realize until she gets there that the man is much older than her, but she¡¯s stuck. There is another, younger man in town that she catches the eyes of. The older man isn¡¯t nice, and eventually she will end up with the younger guy. But I¡¯d like the relationship to build while she is married to the older guy.. (not necessarily sex but the tension is there and they are friends).?

I also enjoy historical Scotland, England, Europe. Big fan of Outlander here.?

I like Sci Fi, as long as we are both humans, but we can be around whatever species. Leia/Han are my favorites. Also a fan of Sisko from DS9.?

Rock star/country star

We can do fandoms or original characters.?

Azeri Fleet - We currently have 4 ships and only two current openings.?

It's been around for quite a while.? This is my second time around with the fleet.??

Yeah, you might have to get an account with herogames.com forums to see that file. On the other hand, it's free, and if you join the game it wouldn't hurt to be part of that forum because there are a lot of experts on the Hero 5e ruleset, which will be the basis for the game.

I've been working on a new game set in TNG.

But--and this is a big but--I'm planning on running it as a game.

I have played a few Star Trek sims and this would be different. It would be run as an RPG, meaning there would be a GM (me) and the players would post their intended actions and then there would be dice rolls (deciding if the intended action is successful).

It's a bit of a different vibe. I've done it before but it's sometimes a challenge for people who have played a lot of sims. Like, the biggest problem comes when players want to take control of NPC's or even create NPC's. That doesn't work for the way I run the games. You can control only your own character and you can't control the outcome of your actions--you can only state your intent or your character's reaction to an event.

Also, your characters have to be statted out and everyone has the same number of points to spend.

I wasn't meaning to start this game until September but if we can get it going sooner I'm up for it. :)

So Rayek tr'Lhoell could be a part of it.

The vibe of the game would be another alternate timeline. I love Star Trek but I don't know all of the details. So the alternate universe would be the GM's idea of what the history and lore is.?

Thoughts??

Hi GM Dillo

Thank you for replying to my post with this offer.? The rpg concept is very appealing to me on whole as just a game with any random new character.. but I'm doubtful on it working for me with Rayek in specific who I've played in various simms on and off for close to 10 years.? I have my doubts I would enjoy playing him in an rpg style game.??

I will continue looking,?

Good luck with your game.

Re: Looking for a Star Trek sim to join

That's an interesting concept. I'd be interested in seeing some of your?ideas on how you might run the game itself. The Star Trek side of it I think most involved will know enough about that it shouldn't pose a problem. So it all really boils down to the game. But consider me interested.?
