USS Challenger (Season 5: Episode 9 - The Naked When) is working alongside the Romulan Free State to investigate the destruction of an lifeless planet near the former Neutral Zone border.? The investigation leads them to answering the distress call of a Free State colony.? There the allied ships encounter a rogue Romulan battlecruiser intent on destroying a populated planet.? During the battle to save the planet, Challenger has taken a strong hit which has knocked out their front shields.? Now the unprotected ship has been boarded by Romulans!? Can the crew of the USS Challenger and their Romulan allies manage to fend off the rogue boarders and save the Free State planet?
Elsewhere in Romulan Free State territory, the crew of the under repair USS Discovery (Season: 14 Episode: 11 - Conjoinment Crisis) are part of an Officer Exchange Program within the Romulan Free State fleet. ? A routine mission to escort a Klingon freighter through the Unroth cloaked minefield has become a race against the clock as the 'expendable' Federation team are sent to regain control of the runaway freighter.? Onboard the team finds monstrous creatures that appear to have been the crew of the freighter at one point in time.? In this game, which takes place in 2012, the world as we know it has come to an end. On December 21st, 2012, disaster swept across the country. Natural disasters including tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tornados left the world nearly destroyed. Strange weather occurring where it should not. By December 25th, Christmas Day, most of the population was dead but the earth itself seemed to cease its revolt and calm down. Strange weather remained, however, leaving the United States a mixture of desert in the west and tropical areas of light rain in the east. For those that survived the horrors of those four days, the tragedy did not end there. The majority of the female population became ill almost immediately afterwards. Was it due to pollution in the drinking supply? Was it some sort of illness that affected only women? The solution was never discovered, but most died before January 1st. Now, it¡¯s January 2013, a new year and all that remains of this world are scattered individuals, none of whom know one another. Most domesticated animals are dead and the wild ones are scarce. How will man kind survive? Radios and cell phones no longer work. The televisions are all dead. No signals have been sent out. Join the game and decide: Will you travel to find other survivors? Will you wait to be found? Is this may be the very end of mankind or just a new beginning? |
