Splendid idea!! I for one have been greatly blessed in my RPG
experience to have Web Mistresses and Masters who are wizards in the
html front and weave their magic not only in posts but on pages as
well.

This is a wonderful thing to do for those of us less code-inclined
and who knows...one day someone might make one of those awe-inspiring
pages and have you to thank for the basic skills.

is between the comment marks I've made towards the end of the

file.

Between the comment marks is all you, and whatever HTML you know.

Now in the RPGj.js (which you should also open up in Note Pad)

you'll

notice I've tried to make many coherent commetns to help you

editing this file. Right at the top of the file are three

variables

that you can change. They are the Title, the image you use under

title and the color scheme. There are currently 5 color schemes

Hello there.

Due to lack of time or the proper inspiration to keep them running, I
am seeking skilled GMs for several of my games. Most are set in
homebrewed worlds and the basic info about each can be found in the
files-section of each games Yahoo Group list(with the exception of
one, none of the games have a acctuall website).
I am of the oppinion that all of the games may have a lot of
potential and may very well provide interesting enviroments for the
players and their characters to explore, of-course, that`s entirely
based on what the GM and the players make them into. So if you are a
GM or a player who believe that you have what it takes to keep a game
running and wouldn`t mind taking over a premade game, please send me
a note to let me know that you are interested(and do tell me which
game you would be interested in taking over).
However, if you want to take over one of the games I will list below,
one condition is that you do so with the understanding and acceptance
of that the world it is set in is copyright to me. That will probably
not be a big problem, but due to the possibility that I may one day
want to publish a story set in the world, I wish to avoid problems
later.

Dragons World-
Long ago, all dragons were imprisoned within the Dragons World by the
now extinct race known as the Phoenix. Here life is a daily fight for
survival, or to avoid enslavement both for the dragons and the lesser
beings who were imprisoned along with them. And who knows what other
terrors that might exist within or without this world...

First Contact-
No, this is not a ST RPG. In this PbEM humankind have just discovered
that they are not alone in the universe, and the one who brought them
that knowledge was a alien AI spaceship calling itself Chi`i. A group
of 11 people from all parts of Earth have been assembled and have now
boarded the Chi`i to be Earth representatives to the Intergalactic
society. But will they be able to deal with the strange beings they
are certain to encounter once they reach their destination, and will
they be able to keep Earth safe from those who might resent the
arrival of humans?

Sheedere-
Have you ever had the idea that there may be other realities other
than our universe? What if it is a fact? What if all existence are
dependent on that those worlds are kept appart from each other? What
if the boundaries between ours and all other worlds starts to fail?
Be one of those who have been chosen by the creators of Reality to
travel between the realities to try to coulter the direct effects of
the breaks, preventing magic from wreaking havoc in a reality where
magic have never before been possible or saving a reality without
technology from a invading enemy with superior technology.. And what
if the Creators fail to mend the boundaries?

The Begining Worlds-
Here you have the opportunity to be a god; eighter a follower of
Light or one sword to Darkness, but still both sides are dedicated to
maintaining the balance. Since the very begining, the gods have been
the protectors of the mortal worlds, guiding or ruling their mortal
children as they see it fit. But..., now the world of the gods are in
shock, for how can a god disappear so suddenly and without leaving
behind even one clue to what might have happened to him?

Currently all of these games are freeform and the age-limit is R 18,
however, depending on the new GMs preferences, this may be changed-
within a certain limit that is. As the creator of these games I would
like to participate as a regular player as often as possible, and I
am not familiar with 'dice-style' roleplaying or the 'D&D system'
(displaying my ignorance there *g*).
It is also a asset if a potential GM can show his or hers previous
experience with PbEMs and a good grasp on writing and grammar are
also prefered.

Well, then perhaps the world of Lentheas is just what you are looking
for. Here dragons bond with human or elven riders to protect their
lands against the gryphons and the dwarves, continuing a milenias old
fight which none alive in this time even remember the origins of..
But those are hardly the only sentient creatures that can be found in
this world, there are also centaurs, wyverns, nagas, unicorns and
many others, some of whose existence might not even be known to most
of the sentient races..
While you are not likely to see spaceships or any advanced technology
in this world, elemental magic as well as telepathy are very real in
Lentheas, and the few sorcerer schools and academies that exists may
be the only places where individuals of all races may live and learn
peacefully together..
So wether you want to be a sorcerer, a gryphon, a wanderer or a
dragonrider..., the possibilities are many, give us your idea and I`m
certain that we can come to an agreement as long as your idea stay
within the realm of the reasonable. Also, due to that Lentheas is a
huge world, there are lots of room for development, so if you are
interested in creating a new race(new sentient races will be VERY
limited), a species of plant or even a entire culture, feel welcome
to contact the BoD.

Our main group, Lentheas, was created at October 3 last year and have
been running with a varying level of activity since then. However, in
April this year, several other lists set in the same world was
created; one spesifically for dragonriders, one for sorcerers and one
for the elven city Aurgath, while our original list is now used for
general RP and for full posts.
Currently we are seeking for more players at each of those lists, so
if you are interested in joining a growing world where you will have
the opportunity to help developing it, you are welcome to join
eighter of our lists;

Aurgath-
This list are currently dead, and therefore we are searching for a GM
to bring it back to life. Among the greatest cities of elvenkind,
Aurgath outshines any human city ever built and it have more than
once been the target of a dwarven and gryphon attack.
Like in all major cities, there are also a dragon Lair in Aurgath, so
dragonrider characters are welcome here.

Lentheas-
Here we are currently exploring the early days of Lentheas, what did
really happen to cause all that hatred between elves, humans, dwarves
and gryphons?
We are also accepting full posts here, and you are also welcome to
start a plot of your own.

Virandli Academy-
This is probably the largest achademy for magic-users anywhere at
Lentheas. Like all other sorcerer schools, it is neutral ground and
therefore one of the few places where humans, elves, dwarves,
gryphons and all the other sapient races of Lentheas can be found
living peacefully together. Here is room for teachers and students of
all races, as well as various members of the working staff, so get
your familiar and come join us today!
Also Virandly Academy is in need of a skilled GM to get it back on
its feet.

WinterSun Lair-
A newly founded dragon Lair, WinterSun can be found in the mostly
unexplored territory of the the northwestern coast of the
southernmost continent of Lentheas. Mainly intended as a place for
breeding dragons, its existence are a secret known only by the
dragonriders of Lentheas, but that doesn`t meant that its residents
won`t face their share of danger.
Currently a clutch of dragon eggs are hardening at the sands of the
Lair, so candidates to bond with the dragonlings who will emmerge
from these eggs are greatly needed.

One of my role-playing games has faltered and died, and I'm starting
a new one because of this. I'm going to use the old game's carcass as

Let me tell you about the setting before you decide it isn't worth
your time. The game is D20 D&D 3rd Edition. The setting is neither
totally Science Fiction, nor totally Fantasy. It is actually a mix of
Future and Fantasy. The setting is a creation of my own. As is, it is
an "in progress" setting and I am testing it under the name Void-9.
Immediately you are thinking about space, and a good deal of it takes
place in space and futuristic worlds. I admit, technology is a big
part of the game, but Magical spells, Psychic powers, and Divine
faith are also extremely important aspects.

The Terran Galactic System has been torn asunder by a vast civil war.
The stability of the Terran Galactic System, though no longer a
unified front, is not in question. The Terran Galactic Senate still
has maintained power. The Amtessian Confederate Systems who have
broken away however are a loose, disorganized faction opposed to the
Senate's strict union of planets, which they believe enslaves all
planets in submission to the command and power of the Terran race.

The Amtessian Confederate Systems are viewed as little more than an
ever-present nuisance to the Terran Galactic System, but
confrontations have proven even a nuisance, if not taken seriously,
can be a powerful enemy. Even so, the Terran Galactic Senate fails to
recognize them as a free entity, seperate from the whole, and
maintains the true threat is from the unknown beyond the Galactic
boundaries of known space. Due to this refusal, the military of the
Terran Galactic System has taken the initiative on recognizing the
threat and, while the standing order from the Senate is "hold your
fire, weapons on stun," the Military orders tend to come into
conflict with the Senate with commands ranging from "fire at will"
to "eliminate with extreme prejudice."

Fortunately, the civil war at large doesn't affect the populaces of
the various galactic homeworlds. However, crime is still a prevalent
factor. Galactically, the universe is divided; globally, the world is
divided or fractured depending on how you see it. On some planets,
entire races take to war against each other; on others street gangs
and triads dominate the major threats to the civilized populace. In
truth, everyone has an enemy, and anyone can become a target, but
when you become one... Will you fight or falter?

I'm using an augmented list of classes and an extended list of races.
There are two sides to the coin and neither side is wholly evil,
merely politically opposed to the beliefs of the enemy. Evil PCs, as
long as they aren't completely evil backstabbing cutthroats, are
limited, but allowed. A person can be morally evil and still be
ethical and honorable, or in other words, Chaotic Evil alignments are
prohibited, and Neutral Evil aligned characters must adhere to DM set
limits on their ethical neutrality. For Lawful Evil I have a defined
honor system I adhere to, and expect Lawful Evil characters to adhere
to as well. But enough about Evil, you're going to be good guys
right!? ^_^ Right... lol

I'm planning on the game being playable by all ages, but I'm not
gonna tell you what you can and can't pout in your posts, just try to
adhere to the Yahoogroups Terms of service guidelines, or I'll delete
the post before Yahoogroups can delete my group. Okay I think that
about covers everything.

Okay, now you know a bit about it, I'll give you time to decide if

In a dark, but not so distant future, the Alpha quadrant is in turmoil.
After 15 years of battle with the main Borg assimilation force, the
remainders of the United Federation of Planets is nearly non-existent. The
few Federation ships left after the battle to retake Earth and Vulcan are
few and far between. Technologies are nearly priceless in the wake of the
disastrous war for survival... Those not scavenged by the Borg or broken
down for repair parts are hard to find and often harder to scavenge. The
danger of infection by Borg Nanites makes the job often suicide to try.
Into this future comes a new ship, designed and built in isolation, created
with a blend of Federation and Romulan technologies, as well as new designs
and fusions of the two that were and are still considered impossibilities,
she flies neither a Federation nor Romulan banner... She flies a banner
much older... one that brings memories of the smells salt air and blood
mingling on the deck, the sounds of cannon fire and screams... She flies
the age old banner called the Jolly Roger, friend, and that wasn't exactly a
cannonball flying across ye bow...

Have you ever wondered whether you have what it takes to survive in a
world gone mad? Have you ever thought, deep down, what it would be
like to wake up one morning and find the streets deserted? Have you
ever dreamed about turning a corner and coming face to face with a
horde of Walking Dead who'd like nothing better than to tear you into
little pieces?

You have? Great! Then this club is just for you.

Realistically speaking, the only reason you're reading this is
because you have an interest in George A. Romero's Living Dead movies
and/or the Resident Evil movie, or games ... indeed, any movie/game
of the Zombie genre so stop reading and join. We need help ... there
are just far too many of them out there and we can't survive alone.
We need help ... we need YOU!

Set in the fictional Arizonan town of Jamesville, population
15,000 ... uhhhhh, I mean a couple of dozen, a small band of
survivors are struggling to remain alive against almost overwhelming
odds. So far they've been lucky but can their luck hold out? Will the
government send aid? Is there still a government? Indeed, is there
still an America ... or a world?

Here is a sample post from the game ... if it sounds interesting to

'The creature that had been Jeannie Walters heard the growl of the
engine and she looked up from her feast. Dropping the severed arm of
her ... husband ... she lurched to her feet and shambled after the
shapes that emitted no scent of life at all. They were of no interest
to Jeannie but the small part of her brain that still functioned
associated that growl with life. That hated of all things. The living
had something that Jeannie didn't and Jeannie wanted it. Her base
functions told her that she needed to feel the warmth of the living
blood in her mouth and throat. If she couldn't experience the vigour
of life then no-one should and, if Jeannie had her way, no-one would.
She moaned deep in her airless throat. No longer did her lungs
inflate with air ... no longer did her heart beat, sending that once
precious fluid pumping through her veins ... no longer did her throat
work to drain her mouth of saliva for Jeannie no longer salivated.
Yet she still hungered ... a desperate hunger for that which was now
denied her ... life!!
Jeannie and her ... companions ... shuffled their uncoordinated way
towards the food source. The scent was different to that which they
had already tasted and, had she the capabilty, Jeannies mouth would
have streamed with drool as, in some distant part of her brain, she
anticipated the taste of the soft, warm flesh and hot, coppery blood.
The Zombies flooded into the road behind the Whitehorses truck and
the road ahead was blocked ... made impassable by the wreckage of
several cars some of which still contained the grisly remains of
their drivers. More bodies lay strewn across the road in varying
stages of consumption.
It appeared that the only options available were a narrow road to the
left or to do a 360 and barrel back through the shambling beasts
behind and leave town again.'

Oh, as this list can, and will, contain graphically descriptive
scenes of a sexual nature, also violence and language, it has been
decided that no members under the age of 18 years will be permitted
to join.
However, as we have no way of determining your true age, we're going

- Frodo was captured by Orcs who took the Ring back to

The Otherworld is a freeform RPG set in a faerie wonderland. It has
been in existance since October of 2001, first via Yahoo Groups, but
having since been moved to MSN Communities messageboard forum
several months ago.

Members must be age 16+, please, and are expected to post AT LEAST
3x each week.

The MSN Communities archives are public and you are welcome to take
a peek at them in order to get a feel for the group and current
storylines. (In fact, I highly suggest that you do so before
beginning the application process so that you can get a good idea
whether it's the kind of game you seek.)



We are currently looking for highly imaginative individuals,
