Following is the reply to the email I sent to BMW/AG in Germany to inquire
about receiving information about our bikes by serial number. See my
original email following this reply.
Note that his reply is about bikes up to the *1969* year only. That is not
satisfactory for us and I will inquire further.
I will ask more about this and let the R90s list know what I find out. Mac
Kirkpatrick

ATTENTION:
Fred Jakobs
Dear Sir: I am inquiring how I might find out some information about
several
BMW motorcycles I own, such as date of manufacture, color originally
painted, delivering dealer, options built with the bike, etc.
Is this possible and how can this be done? Can I send you a vehicle serial
(VIN) number, and is there a charge and how do I pay for this?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks.
Best,
Mac Kirkpatrick drbeemer@...
