Re: R90s bars
Flanders are identical to R90s once the grips are installed. I think the only difference is that the end of the bars are slightly different with the InnerDiameter of the bars.?

Re: R90s bars
Not sure James, but I will find out for you. Gunther has two original R90s bikes that I can compare the Flanders bars to. I suspect that they are close to the same bar.?

Re: R90s bars
Are the Flanders bars set up any higher or further back (toward the rider) than stock? (If they are, that'd be great, as I prefer a more upright riding position.) On Sat, Aug 28, 2021 at 10:03 AM jstewart <imissmitten@...> wrote: Thanks guys the Flanders R90s bars worked. --

Re: Vintage Fall BMW Festival
Does my 1976 R90S qualify as 'vintage' yet?? I'd love to attend, but caring for my 98 year-old father-in-law makes time away from home probematic. I wish everyone a happy time at Todd's gathering. Re: Battery options R90S
+3 for the Motobatt - MBX30UHD. I put these in most of my /6 customer bikes. As was mentioned, you just need to turn the battery holder over to get the nuts back on as it's a bit taller.
One of the the nice things about the Motobatt is it comes with 4 terminals - 2 on either side, so adding a trickle charger or other direct power items is easier and cleaner. I've had bikes come in with two or three additional power options all stacked on the one set of posts with only one or two threads holding the whole stack together. In my opinion, you're just a speedbump away from an electrical issue. With the Motobatt you have one set of terminals for the bike mains and the other terminals for all your accessories. Re: Battery options R90S
Odyssey Extreme Duty PC 680. Smaller than stock but that allows you to make a small box to take up the space, and store small “ get you home” parts, points, condenser, compact jumper cables, tire repair kit or whatever. I made mine out of stainless, works great.? Does anyone have any suggestions for a good sealed brand to choose for the R90?? Same size of course to fit in the tray. --
