The method used with the 1981+ clutches, that 201 mm, etc., method, is not a necessity. The original adjustment for the parallel-to-case method works fine, if one wants to do it that way. An easy way

James,Start with choke on,? no need to let the engine idle. By the time you have your jacket, helmet and gloves on, you should be ready to roll down the road, it's much better to warm up the engine
