Thanks Todd, been doing the process of elimination on some weird fueling gremlins at speeds over 60mph, the old ones were pretty shot and grimy. ?Also going to replace the cork gas cap gasket and clear out the vent hole too. ?

Anyone ever swap the original Karcoma style petcocks (straight down style with plastic nipple) to the more modern 45 degree angle all metal (BMW Karcoma) types? ?
MAX parts states it will work, but they¡¯re definitely different height tubes (originals are shorter height tall tube) and also use different copper screens, ?The newer ones are of course the full tube screen with built in crush washer, the older ones seem to have two tiny thimble like screens that sit loosely on each white gas intake tube. ?
