Hi All, looking for paint advice: My original paint silver smoke tank has some clear coat accidentally removed from the top of the tank. the color coat is still in great shape, so I'd like to repair without a full repaint. I have no problem painting, however not sure if modern Urethane paint would be compatible with the 48 yr old factory clear? Understood the tone may suffer as the original paint had some yellowing over the years and modern clear would not have this 'feature'. Has anyone here attempted a similar repair? thx-Pat
