?? Probably all R90S riders experience such attention, whether at filling stations, or elsewhere in public; and it probably increases with time.? At first I found it almost embarrassing, but grew used to it over time.?
?It's funny, the difference between the attention it draws compared to when I'm on my other bike, an '05 R1200ST - which rarely draws a 2nd look.
?
? After crashing my custom-painted (sadly: bronze/brown metallic fade) '75 R90S? into an unseen barricade (long story), I had enough of an excuse/opportunity to finally repaint it to stock color... in my case, Silver Smoke.?? I haven't driven it yet with its new paint job (completed by an experienced/ talented fellow locally), but when I do i expect it'll draw no less attention than before.?
Some things are truly classic, and 'classics' are long appreciated.? But always, most by their owners (and creators, no doubt!).
