Locked New to the group

I will be a new R90s owner late next week. Might be sacrilege here because it is not a original R90s. I have nicknamed the bike "the mongrel" because it is a combination of different year R parts. The bike is DO with less than 2000 miles on a ground up rebuild and badged as a R90s. The work was done at San Jose BMW in California in cooperation between them and the current owner. I won't get into all the individual parts at this time but will later after picking up the bike. The highlights are it has a 1977 R100 frame, Engine cases and bottom end are R100, Heads are R100, Cylinders and pistons are R90s, Bodywork is R90s with new DO paint. Mufflers and pipes appear stock but are probably aftermarket. Suspension is updated to new Works Performance. Wheels were refreshed with new spokes, rims & Continental tires. I will be taking the bike to my mechanic Guenther Wuest directly after picking it up for? a complete checkout & service. Guenther is a R90s specialist and has several R90s bikes in his shop currently for restoration.? I am new to air heads but not BMW's. I currently own a pristine 2015 K1300HP. Look forward to sharing with this group.
