Isn¡¯t spigot an unusual word? ?It just seemed correct. So, to the question. I think this has been asked a long time ago, but I can¡¯t seem to find the answer. ?I purchased a while ago a set of aluminum intake tracts (spigots). They are machined beautifully and seem to have a Venturi machined on the inside. I believe these were offered from a club member. ?Are these just bling or do they actually help the gas/air mixture? ?Do we have a tried and true method for removing the old steel intakes (spigots)? ?I¡¯m assuming heat and maybe a band wrench of some type? ?Suggestions, please.
