Since you've had no response Steve, I'll put in my two cents worth. My very experienced and trusted old school BMW mechanic used HighFiltro HF161 on my bike. I bought a few and used them for a couple of oil changes myself.
I'm out of them now and I'm switching over to the Mahle OX35. They're only about $11 each from Rock Auto and if you want to patronize our marque specialists, Boxer2Valve, Euro MotoElectrics and Beemerboneyard have them too. The K&N's say they're made in China, the Mahle's are made in Austria.
