I had quite a collection of the heavy Schuco metal models a moderate longish time ago.? They are really nicely made?? I had them all over the house (including on the backside of the kitchen table¡..yes, Penny didn't like that¡).? Had them in the shop too, on a shelf that went around the workbenches, etc., shelf was about 7 feet or so above the floor.?? Most were BMW motorcycles. Last year, during the many months of preparing to sell out and move to our new home, and faced with much more limited room for things, I began dusting them off, putting them back in the original boxes, and selling them.???? Only full metal Schuco I've got left is the one of the Zundapp KS750.? Lovely models.? Mine are 1:10 size, common for Schuco, and the wheels, forks, etc etc all move. Snowbum
My bride won't agree to letting me keep the R90S in the living room (although I did keep my 1971 Bonneville inside my apartment when we were dating), but maybe a plastic R90S engine model would fit on the mantle.
How could she object to that?
