Opera at Riderwood (O@R) is both a highly engaged resident audience for operatic music and a formal not-for-profit organization that produces: Encore Opera,?a free opera every Friday at 1pm in Encore theater; a series of Live Opera concerts featuring acclaimed singers; Opera Notes, a free weekly newsletter with a synopsis of our next Encore Opera; and varied educational programs, including Opera 101 for those new to opera or needing a refresher.??
Residents interested in any aspect of operatic music are welcome and encouraged to attend any of Opera at Riderwood's programs with friends and relatives. We particularly welcome residents who are new to opera and want to explore and experience this entertaining and rewarding art form.
