Re: Wow!

I was fortunate regarding clouds too. It took me a long time to get polar aligned because of so many clouds to my north. The target star was definitely bright enough in my RunCam (with my 8" SCT) to use the NS1 setting and I argued with myself about using a Gain setting of 8 or 9. In the end, I went with 9 because of passing high clouds which lowered light across the whole FOV when they happened.

I took a longer-than-normal video (7 minutes) which at the front and back definitely had lower light levels from passing clouds. Right in the center, where the event occurred, it briefly cleared. I ended up trimming my video to 3 minutes and processing it a couple of times with very similar results with a S/N of 3.2.?

I saw the question asked on the IOTA forum and saw that Dave Gault gave a response, but it wasn't very clear in my mind....In my submitted reports should I designate them: "20231121_P7M03_Titania (III)_Hartnett_POS"? ? ????

Looks like the NEUS crew came through big time on Titania!? I thought I was doomed when I set-up and could just barely see Uranus at 8x, but I was able to record at 2x.? For once cloud timing worked out for me.
