You mentioned how Astrid helped in getting this event, but it looks like you wouldn't have known about it if you hadn't done your own search using Occult4.
It's great how good the recent JPL predictions now are! I captured 10 events in February (9 of them with my Astrid) and the predicted JPL paths seemed to be very close to what I actually witnessed - and most had very small 1-sigmas. Yes, it's nice that if you make the effort to "go mobile" you can now have more faith in coming back with a result!
