I'm not sure it's the same, but on our 18" UC you can remove the screws holding the secondary cylinder to spider/collimator mount and remove the foam, dew heater, and mirror from there.
Hi, I wonder if anyone can help, please? I think that the Dew-Guard pads to the back of my secondary mirror on my 20" f/4 classic Obsession have come loose as it no longer seems to come on in use unless I hold the sensor between my fingers.? It's nothing to do with the battery.? On one occasion the mirror fell out, fortunately not when the OTA was in place and I pushed it back into the sleeve but suspect that the connections to the Dew Guard have become detached. My question is: how do I remove the secondary mirror properly and safely from the metal sleeve / holder? I can see some screws that may open up the cylindrical sleeve, but am not sure I should touch these. Thanks for any advice. Mike G-H, SW France.
