Yes, The dove tail mount base is the same. Stellarvue also offers a "raised" version which I use on my 11" scope to get above the upper OTA ring. Both bases shown here.
Thanks Matt, that distinction is helpful!?
Do they/you use a common mounting dovetail style base or rings? I¡¯d prefer to just mount one on my 20¡± Classic

I have a 22" UC and both Stellarvue finders. When I'm in the mood for star hopping or forced into that situation I like the 13x80. It matches my star atlas well down to 11th mag and makes it easier to star hop IMO. In other cases when in GOTO mode I'll use the 10x50 for quick finding or alignment. The 10x50 does double duty on my 11" f/5.4 Starmaster.

Hello All,
The discussion about mounting a finderscope has brought up another question for me. Which finderscope? My vision is not what it used to be and I am considering adding a standard RACI finderscope. I have a 20¡± f5 classic. Debating between a 9x50 and 13x80 Stellarvue. I am leaning towards the 9x50 as I think it will be easier to use for alignment of the Argo/StellarCAT system. Am I wrong? Which would you recommend and why?
Thanks
Dave
