This is the Trisanna Bridge in western Austria -- on the line between Innsbruck and Switzerland (From 2001).

Hope this works. -- Ernest

B&MRRHS "Bulletin"

Arrived in the mail today, and glad to see this. ?Volume 32, No. 1. Contains quite a substantial article by Scott Whitney with extensive photographic documentation of the construction of the Wachusett Reservoir -- and the relocation of the Central Massachetts Branch of the Boston & Maine, as part of the clearing of humans, livestock, and structures before the flooding of the valley. ?Dozens of photographs are included, documenting the mills, homes, businesses that were demolished or relocated, part of a collection of 8,000 negatives taken beginning in 1896, as the state reservoir project was gearing up. ?The story of the construction of this massive reservoir has long been written about, but in this issue of the "Bulletin" -- in black and white, of course -- we are shown glimpses of some of the massive mills that were demolished, as well as many houses, town buildings, and railroad facilities. ?This is the first part of a multi-part article, with construction photographs shown in the coming second part. ?It is rather astounding to see what was accomplished with men, horses, hand tools, and steam-powered narrow gauge operations, as well as steam shovels.

Well it appears we’ve made a successful migration.?

Several of my other groups have made this move, and I have seen not one complaint, I hope it remains so

Mike and Sam, ?I have signed up as I have had the same experience as George, with the migration of a New England railroad Yahoo group over to io.groups.

I signed on to ObsCar in 1998, apparently right after Paul started the group, thanks to an energetic volunteer at the Sierra Railroad who told me about it.
