Thanks Andy.? I hope you can make it there.? The Transcon goes through some remarkable countryside and is a busy piece of railroad, with plenty of trains to watch.? When you get tired of trains, if that's possible, you can visit everything from Hoover Dam to the Grand Canyon to "Standin' on the Corner", with the Painted Desert and Teepee Motel thrown in for good measure.
