Grizzly Meet Friday, 2010

Wiseass answer to a math problem:

If a train leave Emeryville, California at 0910 and arrives in Chicago, Illinois 2 days later at 1450 and another train leaves Chicago at 1400 and arrives in Emeryville 2 days later at 1610 and it is 2438 miles between the two end points, where will the trains meet?
Answer: Grizzly Siding, just east of Glenwood Springs, Colorado, assuming both trains are on time.

Grizzly siding east of Glenwood Springs in Glenwood Canyon was a classic spot for the CZ to meet in the days when the trains were 17 and 18. Here is a view of the CZs meeting at Grizzly in the 1960s:?
