Hi Tim,

Well I figured out a couple things on your radio last night. First
the switch on the back, configures the CW KEY input as either a paddle
to use the internal keyer OR a key input to use an external
keyer/computer. So no choice exists to use them simultaneously.
Therefore using your external keyer and the 'Y' adapter, all I now
need is a stereo phone jack to 1/8" mini plug. UW's parallel adapter
cable then works just fine. That stereo plug on that parallel port
cable only has two wires coming to it, the tip and ground. So the
ring is not used. FYI for your bag of knowledge!

Roger roger. I'll want to actually document what was
done this year so we don't have to figure it all out
again NEXT year!

Have fun.
