Mike, last year I stayed fairly high and no problems. Not sure if it gets real wet. I think we can look over the site for egress. tom

Re: Regarding WLAN
Remember to use only channel 11 to avoid problems with AO-40 on 2.4. Too bad we aren't using 802.11a. Robin

Re: Regarding WLAN
Sounds cool. We'll use 192.169.1.x /24 Put the APs high (above 200 and I'll keep the wired stuff low). If we can get internet access on the network, we can set up Writelog to connect to the cluster

Re: Regarding WLAN
OK by me. But that shouldn't mean much as I have no earthly idea what any of this means except that you are bringing some high-tech stuff, and it won't interfere with the satellite station.

Regarding WLAN

440 Yagi for FD SAT station...
Jeff - Is it circularly polarized...or a long-boom 440 Yagi? FYI: Here's the kind of SAT antenna array I believe Robin, AA4RC is trying to duplicate (would like to have) for FD:

A brief comment on fire extinguishers...
Regardig the fire extinguishers... PKP and CO2 extinguishers put out the fire the same way, by "smothering" or removing the Oxygen. The difference is that PKP is reasonably corrosive -- especially
