I'm planning on having the moving van here on about October 11th, or earlier.
?
Big dependency is on how fast we can give-away, throw-away, sell and/or pack for the move...
great progress this weekend... hopefully, we'll be 90% done by end-August (Shelby)...
if so, I'll accelerate the move to end-Sept...
?
you're always welcome in my neck of the woods... if you're taking the coach, there are a couple of dandy places that we've always frequented and LOVE...!!!

FYI: They are 19" "relay racks"......side rails, predrilled holes front/back, platform base.
Can be unbolted easily for transport into 6 pieces, not counting any shelves..
Typically you see these in use in wiring closets to terminate CAT-5 wiring at patch panels...

    Hi Everyone,

This invitation is to give you a fun and unique opportunity. The Atlanta
Astronomy Club will be holding a special event Saturday, August 23rd.

This month (August) Mars will be closer than it has been in the last 60,000
years. Also Uranus and Neptune will be visible at the same time. I have
been working hard to get the club to put on this special event and have
promised to bring a load of new people out. (We love having company.) The
club is going all out by having a lot of fun sessions to suit a variety of
interests. Feel free to participate in any or all of the activities or
just come out for the stargazing.

    Activities:
    * The club members will have a variety of telescopes setup for your
viewing pleasure, and will be happy to answer any questions we can.
    * We will have Mars and Uranus tracking on outdoor monitors.
    * A beginner slide show on the night sky (held indoors at the
    observatory clubhouse.)
    * An outdoor session to help you find your way around the night sky (we
    call it star-hopping.)
    * A session to help you locate and track satellites. (Ever wanted to
    see the International Space Station?)
    * We hope to have a solar telescope setup during the cookout.
    * We expect to have the grill fired up during the daylight.
If you are interested, please RSVP to me so that I can send you all the
details. Your friends are welcome but I need a head count so that I can be
sure that we have enough food and supplies on hand.

    Looking forward to seeing you,
    Nancy

    HI Tim,

No problem. We'll probably be at it until 10pm or so at least. The
home phone is 770-579-0673, and Margaret's cell phone (THE 24/7 number
    to call) is 678-467-9793.

It's VERRRRRRRY informal, so bring your flip-flops, boonie hat, and
    bathing suit.

    Dave

    Hi John,

Yes, she will have a wonderful time. The event will be held Saturday,
August 23, at the club observatory in Villa Rica. That's out I20 West.

7-7:30 PM should give you plenty of time for the cookout and the solar
observing. Club members get there fairly early to setup equipment so
    anytime is fine (before dark).

I'll add you and Elizabeth to the list. Details and directions will
    follow
    in a later email.

    Hi Everyone,

This invitation is to give you a fun and unique opportunity.? The Atlanta Astronomy Club will be holding a special event Saturday, August 23rd.?

This month (August) Mars will be closer than it has been in the last 60,000 years.? Also Uranus and Neptune will be visible at the same time.? I have been working hard to get the club to put on this special event and have promised to bring a load of new people out.? (We love having company.)? The club is going all out by having a lot of fun sessions to suit a variety of interests.? Feel free to participate in any or all of the activities or just come out for the stargazing.

    Activities:
    • The club members will have a variety of telescopes setup for your viewing pleasure, and will be happy to answer any questions we can.
    • We will have Mars and Uranus tracking on outdoor monitors.
    • A beginner slide show on the night sky (held indoors at the observatory clubhouse.)
    • An outdoor session to help you find your way around the night sky (we call it star-hopping.)
    • A session to help you locate and track satellites.? (Ever wanted to see the International Space Station?)
    • We hope to have a solar telescope setup during the cookout.
    • We expect to have the grill fired up during the daylight.
If you are interested, please RSVP to me so that I can send you all the details.? Your friends are welcome but I need a head count so that I can be sure that we have enough food and supplies on hand.

    Looking forward to seeing you,
    Nancy

Sorry for the astronomy post since it's not field day related, but you are still all invited.
