¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHey Gary, I don¡¯t know that we¡¯ll have a dedicated GOTA station, but I don¡¯t see any reason why we can¡¯t use one of the other radios for a part time GOTA station.? Seems like that might require another computer to keep the logs separated (since the GOTA station operates under a different call and can work all the stations N4N works too). ? The rules have changed for GOTA scoring.? No limit to GOTA QSOs for each operator.? Each QSO is 5 points (with no power multiplier) regardless of mode used.? GOTA coach bonus is a single 100 point bonus for having a coach present for at least 10 QSOs.? So if we have a radio and operators available is makes sense to operate a GOTA station.? ? Daytime we should have propagation on 40-10m, and maybe 6m.? Nighttime we should have 80 and 40 all night and 20 and 15m until after most operators call it a day.? So up to four stations would work without the QRM problems with two stations on a single band.? ? Dave UW ? From: [email protected] <[email protected]>
