Hi Dave,
I completely agree on keeping the N4N call.? I'll contact PARC to
see if the 27th will work.
If nothing else, we can share some ideas.? What does everyone else
think?

...Here is a comment I just received from a PARC member:
"The spirit of Field Day is fellowship among amateurs, developing
operating skills, emergency preparedness, and promoting amateur radio to
the general public. ...? I think we should sit down with them and
see what is possible."?? - Mike/k4ais

Hi Nancy,
Working together sounds like a good idea to me. About the only thing
I
really would like to be sure to retain is the N4N call sign--that was
a
gift to the CW folks as the shortest, easiest 4-land CW call sign
to
help speed things up. Robin has expressed interest in involving ARC
as
well. Not sure how or if we can pull this all together, but we have
plenty of time to work on it so we should be able to put together a
great effort!
I had sent out a poll question to the N4N mailing list to see what
the
interests were for 2004, and as one might expect this eclectic group
is
never unanimous. The sentiment was split roughly 50-50 between
shooting for number 1 nationwide and keeping the effort about the
same
as last year. Maybe there's a middle ground.
Of course, I'm just speaking for myself. Let's hear from the rest
of
the group. A Saturday lunch to plot strategy sounds like a good
idea.
How about on the 27th? The usual spot? (Hemminways on the
square)
