Good to see that is working on de CLONE port. I use the D-sub because there is also audio in and audio out on this connector.
It uses two 600 Ohm transformers??to make a connection to? a cheap usb soundcard.

Thanks for your reply. 1) COM ports are correct. 2) I set the COM port number on the set menu of the radio. All are the same. 3) D-sub is set on the set menu. I use DSC out at the back side of the radio. But no way. I did this; I just use TX and GND outs of the USB-toSerial?connector and I connected those to CLONE port at the back side of the radio.
