The fault wires from the Geckos were wired to the breakout bourd so the software would read the faults What I was not sure is. The axis stop moving was it a fault, or the buffer when the axis stoped

you just have to know how much steps your driver need to make one spindle rotation (most servo controlers have electronic gearing so you can adapt to your needs). then you can compute the max spindle

It will be faster at 45 Khz. You have to retune the motors each time you change this pulse rate settings to get mach3 running ok. If you are running brushless servos, specialy with high resolution
