Hi Christer:
Mach2's HPGL is very simply. It was meant as a simple import filter for
non-cam users. I never added Pen capability.
I will add it to the list. I have recently changed HPGL for version 4.0 so
that it has a "As-Drawn" as well as metric/english
selections as well.
